Ben has been confirmed as appearing in Brendan Behan’s controversial play "The Hostage" at Southwark Playhouse. The play will run for a short period between February 3rd and February 20th 2010. It will last for two and a half hours and begins at 7.30pm, matinees will begin at 3.00pm.
"It’s 1958. News that a young IRA man has been sentenced to death by the British reaches the whores, sailors, pimps and revolutionaries who reside in a seedy, Dublin boarding house.
In retaliation, the IRA captures a Cockney soldier and brings him to the house. Tension mounts until the execution hour arrives and,with an explosive finale, the hostage’s fate is
